I purchased this chair 14 months ago. I work from my home office and sit in this chair 5-6 hours daily. Yesterday, the chair collapsed, I fell sideways onto my hardwood floor and fractured my wrist.

Like many others here, my chair's armrest (right) broke at the bolts that attach it to the chairs bottom cushion, when I was leaning back. This caused the back of the chair to have no structural support. Upon examination, the plastic arms can be seen to just be made of injection molded plastic. There is absolutely no internal metal core or reinforcement. See attached photos.

I'm 6'4" and weigh 210 lbs. I'm not huge nor obese. This chair might work for somone who weighs 150 lbs. or so. But the chance of injury is just not worth it.

I'm going to go out and look for an office chair that has it main stuctural parts made of metal and preferably not made in China!

Please don't buy this chair. Spend more and get a metal frame chair. It will cost more, but you'll save an expensive Emergency Room visit and keep your health. You have been warned

Terribly poor support from the company and Staples, the company demands you have your RECEIPT to use the warranty. I do not have the receipt, the chair has a FIFTEEN YEAR warranty, this style of chair is not fifteen years old.I have my information, I have the registration numbers on the chair, I can prove the chair is not fifteen years old, but no.No RECEIPT, no WARRANTY, screw you buyer, no replacement arm for you.The company nor Staples will allow you to purchase the arm separately, you cannot even find your name in the purchase history since Staples does not keep the names on the credit cards. Therefore the chair is broken, there is no way to replace the arm, and neither company will help.Press your receipts in carbonite and store them carefully, because your warranty is void if you lose them, fifteen years of Nothing and [$] Wasted.

Not that adjustable, but I got it for cheap enough. The arms don't seem so stable either. Apart from that, it's comfortable, soft and fuzzy, and nice looking.
