I saw this shredder on the "VIEW ABC TV" and said I had to check it out. When I checked the reviews I said that either these people are pushing this unit too hard or it's a piece of junk. Well I bought it and love it! I remembered the people at work stuffing improperly one of these commercial shredders that could eat a human. They didn't care. This little one has a 8 min run time abuse it you lose it. It's perfect for your at home business and is still running. Some people have no conception of what is to much. This is a small unit not made to gulp down the universe and two million dvds, and credit cards.
The view was right this unit is great for the small office with simple paper disposal and also just plain at home use.
It has 2 shut of features that are great when you have children. The main shut off on the front and the master shut off on the back which is out of site.

If this product actually worked more than a handful of times it would have been useful. It is absolutely a piece of garbage. After a few uses I tried to turn it on and it was completely dead. I am out the money for it because I lost my receipt and disposed of the box. My loss....don't make it yours too!

I was thrilled with the size of this product, and didn't much care about noise. The only issue I had at first was that the power button seemed to be touchy. There was no rhyme or reason; it would just power off, or I'd have to touch the button a few times to get it to turn on. After about two months of periodic light use, it just stopped running. The overheat light never came on, nothing was jammed, and there was no visible damage. When it is plugged in, it just won't turn on. I suspect that there is something faulty in the power mechanism. I'm looking for a new machine now-- and although I love the size of this desktop version, it's not worth the money in the long-- well, the short run.

I originally owned a smaller version of this machine and it just died without being jammed or overheated. It just didn't want to work again.The same thing has happened to the second, larger, version. It still will light a button when the power is on but it will not allow any of the mechanisms to work. Both models I owned for less than 6 months each. NOT DEPENDABLE! [...]

OMG, Don't bother paying the high price only to get home, plug it in and find it's D.O.A!! HOW CHEEZY! I was SO ANGRY, but it actually worked for the better because after my refund I went to Office Depot and bought an Aurora for less than [$] and it works GREAT!!WHAT A RIP OFF!

I had the M3 it is a great shredder. Does it's job but the new M5 is the ultimate one I dont think for the size and performance no other shredder can touch this one!!!
