This is a supplement to other positive reviews.

Aside from the impressive unit appearance and "Trubrite" display, the following observations should be helpful:

First, the published size is the overall space consumed by the monitor and stand.

Second, The monitor works well with many resolutions not only with VISTA, but past environments. It is important that HP is a automatically recognized manufacturer that has robust website support.

Third, the built-in 2" speakers work just fine as long as you use the included audio cable and the appropraite system volume controls.

Forth, the included stand is very sturdy, provides adequate tilt, and swivels by simply turning the whole unit. The hole in the stand may also be used as a carrying handle.

Fifth, Cables included are VGA, DVI and Audio.

The only surprise is the potential for neck injury due to constant scanning of the panoramic widescreen (HA).

This is a birthday gift from my daughter; she knew I wanted a new monitor and gave me the option to select which one. Was at first, going for the Acer 22 inch widescreen, that is until I went to Staples and actually saw it. Then I saw this one and was instantly in love. The text was so sharp and crisp and the graphics so vivid. I compared all the other 20/22 inch monitors at my Staples store and they paled in comparison to this one. The text was bleeding (fuzzy) and the graphics wasn't so hot either.
I also love the glossy frame around the monitor and the silver base fits with my new desk that I purchased 2 weeks ago from Staples.
My advice is if you are thinking about ordering a monitor online, first do your research and then go into a actual store to see it up close. I am really glad that I followed this advice that I found while researching monitors.

I have to say that you won't find a Tru-Brite Screen at this price, not only is the price Great the Monitor looks like it should be at least [$] or more, I have a Tru-Brite 22" from another company and this HP Monitor has much nicer Contrast than my 22" ----way, even after I adjust the color it's much sharper. Thanks for that Perfect Monitor at the Perfect Price H.P. !
