I liked the quality of this brochure paper but the ink took a while to dry and it smeared. I will exchange this to matte brochures instead.

First off, it could be whiter. This brochure paper has a slight yellow tinge to it. Also, the glossy finish isn't as hard as I'd like.

The scoring for the folds goes pretty deep into the multi-layers, so this paper tends to separate at the seams and shred a bit--resulting in a very unprofessional looking document.

If you can get this on sale (as STAPLES stores sometimes offer), it may be worth it. Otherwise there are other Glossy Tri-fold Presentation Papers out there that are a better value.

Frankly, it's my opinion that all this stuff is way overpriced these days. Why on earth does HP import this pulp from Deutschland? That can't possibly make it more affordable.

You must constantly monitor the paper feed as the sheets tend to stick together. Also, when you fold at the crease, the paper seperates and leaves behing ragged edges, instead of a crisp fold. Also the price is a bit expensive, especially given the fact that because the paper clings together during printing, many copies are not usable.

We use this for all our brochures. Received bids from several printers. They were less expensive than my ink costs are, but the quality was much lower. Our sales have doubled since sending out brochures to all prospective clients. Well worth the costs involved!
