My little recipe box was crammed full. I purged all the recipes, made file folders by category-cookies, pasta, salads, etc. and the wire basket with all the files sits on the shelf with cookbooks, but gets used much more often.

I use these for prioritizing items on my desk as well as for my "cooks Illustrated" magazine collection. I have one in "the little reading room" (Guest bathroom) for reading material about God, health, gardening and fun catalogs. I also use them (2)on my kitchen counter for recipes/recipe file folders, small trays and trivits and small cutting boards. You can lay them down and/or stand them up for your "look".
