This tape constantly sticks to the dispenser, to itself, or anything it contacts. It does stick to the packages, but there is almost always a struggle to apply it to packaging. I don't want to fight with a product each time it is used.

If you are looking for a good price buy the Staples product. However if you are looking for a great packing tape, buy the 3M tape for more money.

used for sealing boxes in move.\neasy to use, thick, tears perfectly with dispenser, never shreading like thinner tapes. \nAdhesive not the best. In temperature controlled environment tape would come up from cardboard boxes.

I ship a lot of packages in my home business. I've tested a lot of tape and keep coming back to this one. The 2.6 mil thickness is the important thing. The thinner/cheaper tape keeps flopping down on the roll, requiring an exasperating amount of time and wasted tape to peel it from the roll, again and again. Totally not worth the savings in cash. There are thicker tapes available, but not really necessary unless you ship heavy items all the time. This is a good, all round packing tape.
