Software crashed my computer and Windows do not accept it so you can not download it. Does not read letters correctly as it claims to. some of the info was missing and i had to type it in, which negate the purpose of the scanner.

Installed on a Vista machine and, subsequently an XP machine. As some of the negative reviews indicate, the software does not understand that it has been registered or updated and keeps nagging. It scans one card and stops. You must tell it to scan each card individually. I was keen to see if it handled international cards as touted, since my customers are all offshore. After forcing it to scan and OCR about 20 cards, it did not capture one single company name and the error rate on the rest of the information was about 50%. It is faster to manually type cards into a database than to wrestle with this product. The IRISCan customer service is non-responsive.

The IRISCard Pro 4 is one of the most handy gadgets around. I had never even heard of a business card scanner until I came across the IRISCard that my colleague had. It wasn't long before I went and got one of my own. I no longer have to keep all those business cards that I collect on my desk or in my bag, or basically anywhere else I end up keeping them. The fact that it is so portable is the best part. I bring it along with me to my meetings and can actually just plug and scan right after the meeting is done. It has saved me a lot of time and has definitely lessened my clutter and kept me just a little bit more organized.

My boss had this and raved about it for months so I broke down to jump on the bandwagon. I am in the pharm sales business and this thing lets me organize all the biz cards from my office visit rounds, plug into my laptop, scan all the cards, organize them all by doctors office and I am officially organized. Then I use it for email blasts to all the different clinics. Cool, very cool! I tell all my colleagues. My division may deploy them to all the field reps now, I started a new trend.

It's a big mistake buying this scanner. First, every time I open the application, it asks me to register and install updates. I already done that 3 times, but it just doesn't recognize that I just registered and did the updates ! Second, it gave me such a hard time to successfully do the calibration. Third, it scanned only one card after numerous trials, then just would scan the next card!! It is very irritating. Third, the quick user guide doesn't even tell you what those buttons on the scanner itself are!!! Big mistake...Big price for nothing... It is going back tom..

Just perfect.\nScan business cards and have them all retyped in Outlook in zero second. Why on earth was I manually spending nights to type in all the contacts of the people I met at my last trade show when I could have used this scanner to do it for me.
