Great support for my prime use 17" laptop and have used it with my 15" unit. Heat is dissipated fantastically and the position of the unit in ones lap is perfect. The Laptop does not slide around - once positioned it remains. When one is in an easy chair the keyboard is raised and comfortable to use.

I use it to keep heat from building up beneath the laptops, and while this deflects a good deal of it, some heat radiation is actually retained in the cushion and feels a bit uncomfortable on my lap.
