I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. CHAIR ROLLS EASILY, BUT IT SHOULD FOR THE PRICE. SO FAR, I AM VERY PLEASED, AND IT APPEARS TO BE VERY DURABLE. I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE AROUND EASILY AND THIS PERMITS ME TO DO SO. I HOPE IT LASTS ME FOREVER.

I have been buying chair mats for thirty years, both for my office and an office in my home.\n\nThis company's product actually lives up to it claims, (imagine that). Does not crack (I am 210 and use a heavy five wheel leather chair), does not discolor, chair glides across the surface and the mat does not slid on the carpet.\n\nI have purchased much thicker mats thinking that they would not crack, however over time, they all failed. This polycarbonate mat material is so superior and does not seem to need the extra thickness (which does not seem to prevent cracking anyway). This also makes the polycarbonate mat lighter and easier to move, reposition on your carpet etc.\n\nStaples seems to only carry the polycarbonate version of the Floortex chair mat, if you check the manufacture’s website they appear to make mats in standard materials as well (which I assume have the same traditional problems), I can only attest to the polycarbonate material.
