The CA-2016 desktop 2-piece system comes in a compact and stylish design with convenient desktop control. The USB powered amplifier draws the power through a USB cable/plug. No batteries or AC power source are required. The stereo speaker system ismagnetically shielded, has a LED power indicator, a cloth grill, a volume control and a headphone output jack. The CA-2016 features 1.5" x 3" high efficiency drivers and delivers 3 watts power output.

Although I'm normally concerned with quality, I didn't necessarily need really good sound for this, and had a tight budget to boot. Overall they were average.

I have a Laptop and I can barely hear those speakers. I received this as a gift. The sound quality is just not there and no adjustments for tone. The volume isn't much and the set-up with the wires and adapter is bulky. If you just want a speaker, for a speaker and don't care about quality these would be o.k. But I've seen smaller ones that work as well, -disappointed.
