I PURCHASED THIS IN APRIL 2008 AND IT WORKED UNTIL FEB 2009 . THEN I HAD CONTINUAL PROBLEMS . HP FINNALLY REPLACED IT WITH A REFIRBISHED ONE THAT HAD MORE PROBLEMS THAN THE ORIGINAL . THEY BAILED OUT ON AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH COST $95.00 BECAUSE I USED 2 NON HP INK CARTRIDGES. THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY ALTHO THEY PERFORMED NO SERVICE UNDER THE WARRANTY.

Very noisy, slow, color is terrible, wish I had my old 7310! But it (7310)was reburbished and quit working just after warranty was up! Of course! I've had it too long to return but would love to.I like HP products but this one is for the birds.Well, at only (?) [$].you get what you pay for I guess.

I bought a canon laser but then was recommended this AIO. the printer is FAST and the quality is amazing. I also print photos on this which come out great. The cartridges are affordable, esp when you buy the XL version which is cheaper and had the same yield as some of the brother and canon's i was looking at. scanner works great and i love the double sided printing as well as the ADF.\nThe problem I had was with Vista initially. They launched it right after Vista's launch and their drivers did not work. The tech support had one straight answer, reinstall the drivers. after countless calls to outsourced support, i was able to contact their tier 3 directly and spoke to them about it. they admitted the issue and blamed it on microsoft, go figure. however it eventually came down to an Antivirus on vista that blocked the communication between the printer and PC. Eventually they released version 8.2 and vista was SP1 and things started working ok. just use Avast or AVG. Anyway, it works flawlessly with XP. Have not had any jamming issues with the ADF or the duplex module.

I've had this printer for about 5 months now and I have not had one document jam (knock on wood) it's fast, excellent print quality and we coudn't be any happier with it. We are planning on buying another one (that will make 3) for our office. We are very satisfied.

HP has had to replace this unit 2 times. The software didn't use its' memory properly for over a year. It could not print reasonable numbers of 2 sided copies without restarts. It uses way too much ink. It is fussy. HP customer service is out sourced with each tech wanting to follow the kindergarten cue sheet all over again. Very difficult to get to the people who know what they are doing. (They do exist when you get there.)HP installs tons of unnecessary "stuff" on your computer that has nothing to do with using the printer as designed. Paper feed is fussy. Duplex (2 sided) printing is excruciatingly slow. High maintenance. This machine does not do what they say it will do the way it comes in the box. I have used computers since before the Radio Shack Model 1. I have had many fine HP products. However, this printer, the time it has cost me, the downtime, and the frustration it has caused me, have probably turned me off on HP forever!
