I failed to notice that this product was not RATE CALCULATING, easy to make this mistake because the photo is deceiving, it shows a rate calculating model. Also, cord must be purchased separately.

It's overpriced and doesn't even include a power cord, you can get a much better deal on-line. Now it did work with a 9volt battery, but for the price, I expect to go home, take it out of the box, and weigh things. Again, thinking of price, it seems to be nothing to it, cheaply made. The measurement of weight was very accurate, easy to use but for my packeges I need a weigh area that is a little larger. Great for smaller packages!

The scale is very easy to set up and use. I tested the device with known weights and it proved true. The only drawback that I have found is that it is hard to read the screen when weighing a large envelope.
