put this in my laundry room, near kitchen, because i was tired of emptying tiny trash can several times a day. then, we would leave the bag open on the floor so we could "fill it up." not very appealing. this solved everything! So far it hold a week's trash (not food garbage) and I love it. My only concern is that it's not the newest model. otherwise i would've given it 5 stars.
