The Staples packing tape is a good alternative to the more expensive 3M brand. Tensile strength and durability are comparable and tape doesn't become yellow or brittle over time.

ship packages daily. Tape doesn't start to shred and tear into tiny strips. EAsy to work with. much more expensive than many other brands and stores.

I am somewhat disappointed in this particular STAPLES brand "CLEAR VIEW PACKING TAPE". I find it too thin for my shipping needs. I have to use more of it because, to me it feels flimsy. I do a lot of INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING and want strength as well as superior protection from the elements. I would not purchase this product again. I love STAPLES products and prefer to use them over higher priced competitors, however in this case I need quality and would pay a little more to purchase a competitors more powerful brand of clear tape!
