I bought this file box because it was clear and cheap. I bought 7 of them for Scouts. One cracked right away. It is still usable. The lids do not snap on real tight.

The "archives" of printed material our company has produced over the years was getting too big and showing wear. These bins have a built-in hanging file rail, which is exactly what we needed. They stack well, and will hold up much better than conventional boxes over time. It has also saved us some storage space, since they are about 50% bigger than the boxes we had been using.

I store our current year's books for each child in these boxes, by subject. I use some very decorative file folders to divide each subject. The only warning here - and it's a BIG one - is that it is deep and has slippery stacking, so I would recommend getting some framed hanging file pockets to keep everything in place.
The boxes come in different colors (all see thru)so each child has their own color. Keeps our school books organized and easy to grab and go when we take school on the road. There's even enough room for my high schoolers load of books & binders.
Great organizational value!
Yes, the lids don't fit too tightly, but in our case that's good, even my little one can open it on his own.
I didn't check off "durable" only because I want to reuse them every year and we don't know, yet, if they will hold up. So far so good. I bought them 5 months ago, my kids work out of them every day and so far, no scratches, scuffs, or cracks.
