I use the product to sharpen colored pencils that I use in scrapbooking. It is much more efficient that a hand-held sharpener. It does not "gobble" up the pencil.

We used this sharpener twice a week for about 10 pencils. It stopped working after 3 weeks. I am very disiappointed since we bought the most expensive model for sale thinking it would last and give good service.
