So far I have found this product to be excellent!! It's been extremely useful for my classroom! 5 classes use this on a daily basis. I'm hoping (knock on wood) that it continues to be just as good at the end of the school year and next!

It sharpens as it claims it will. Provides an exceptional pencil point. After 2-3 weeks of use the blades do not disengage and continue to sharpen. Although it doesn't affect the pencil points, it will eventually ruin the motor. I will be sending it back to get it replaced. I'm a school teacher, and only I sharpen the pencils once a day. So the unit hasn't been abused or run continuously.
