I bought the chairs (two of them) for my 81-year old mother who was discharged that very day from the hospital. Mom needed a sturdy, steady chair, with arms. These were at just the price I was looking for and work perfectly. We keep one in her living room and one at the kitchen table. She can sit down with no problems and get up and transfer to her walker with no problems.

Designed with best anatomical considerations. It firms and yet supportive over all contacting body surfaces - back, bottom and legs. Used it for over a year when metal frame cracked. Going to by another one.
