Based on the other ratings, it sounds like we got the only one that works, but ours works great! It works so well that I am seriously considering getting another.\nWe have used cheaper electric staplers and they always broke under our extensive use. After six months, we find this stapler fast, easy-to-use, and easy to unjam.

This expensive stapler broke just a few months after we bought it. We did not abuse it in any way, or even over-use it. I was very disappointed. It did not staple well, and it broke after a short period. Waste of money.
