Great desk, lots of room to spread papers around. Only one thing: do not put together this alone. If you're not the handyman type or it's just you solo, DO NOT try to put this together yourself. All told it's pretty heavy and requires at least 2 people working together. You'd be better off paying the extra money to have Staples folks put it together for you.

This product did not come with assembly instructions. I did have to contact the CS people in Canada and they had to fax the directions over. Directions were not legible and no written instructions only pictures. But product is sturdy and a good value.

This desk provides a large surface area if you leave off the extra raised corner piece. We currently have 2 workstations and 1 laptop running on it, with lots of extra room for paperwork! Great bargain for the surface area!

Peparing to write cookbook for children/grands. Love amt. of desk top, leg room and design. Makes the converted bedroom space (2-bdrm condo), seem larger. The lack of filing space only negative. Have created and alternative with plastic storage bin. Positive outweighs negative.
