Easy to setup... had it plugged in and running in 5 minutes. I have a very shallow "desk" surface, and the compact design works perfectly for me. Even with its smaller size, it still feels like a "pro" machine. A little noisier than I would like, but still not too bad.

Physical & software installation was a breeze.

Out of the box, printed pages had a repeating tick mark along the right hand side of the page.

Called Brother, but support was not able to resolve the issue. They escalated it, & a tech called me back explaining that it was not uncommon for that to occur. Suggested cleaning drum with alcohol. And even if I did not do that, that the marks should go away on their own after a number of pages had been run through the machine.

I clean with alcohol, which helped, but did not fully remove the marks. Not long thereafter, usage in itself cleared them up as the tech had said.
