The previous reviews had me scared to death about the construction of this desk...Not to disrespect anyone but if you do not use a cordless screwdriver you have to be an idiot..I am one of those idiots but I did use a cordless screwdriver and it took less than 2 hours to put together..\nI absolutely am not mechanically inclined..but...I had no problems constructing this desk. The parts are labeled great and INDIVIDUALLY wrapped...which made putting this together easy...Just laid out the parts and jumped in....\nDon't hesitate to grab this nice desk....

While assembly wasn't difficult, it still took almost 4 hours. I like to build things (these like big useful puzzles!), so I usually have a quick build, but this one just has so many more pieces than one would think. That makes it look/feel better though. It does look really good. [Step 8 and Step 14 in the instructions are using the same part - lock lever mentioned in 8 is used to remove the slidey part (H152832) needed in 14. You'll know what I mean when you get there.] \n\nThe surface is covered in that same weird painted on plastic that warps if you leave a glass on it, so be careful. I just built it last night and I've already done damage. It definitely looks better than the usual light brown/wood-pattern colored plastic though, a LOT better. It's one of the reasons I would recommend this desk. The parts look like they're made of hard black plastic, not painted black wood. THe silver \n\nThe little drawer box can go on either side or on the outside, and a subwoofer and/or printer can go by your feet and/or up on the desk, which holds up to 226 pounds. There are a bunch of spaces and they're all customizable. The desk has wheels but it won't move at the slightest push, takes a little force which I like. The silver bars make it look really nice along with the black. I like this desk. It fits in the small space that is my room, it looks good, it's a good buy.

Comments about Bush\u00AE Visions Computer Cart:

I searched online for 2 days to find the perfect desk. I needed a keyboard tray, a place to store my computer tower, large enough area for monitor (flat screen) and my textbooks to study on - with even some drawer space. And this desk is perfect!\n\nI assembled the desk by myself which took 4+ hours however the directions were easy to follow but it has a lot of parts. But because there are lots of parts, the construction is sturdy and has a professional appeal. \n\nBest parts: Great desk space and a small file drawer which can be placed on either side or outside of the desk! The keyboard tray is great! Large enough for keyboard and mouse. If you have a printer you can place it on the desk or on the bottom level by your feet.\n\nSome gripes: The small file drawers (there's a small accessories drawer that keeps catching and a larger one to put hanging files that is sticking out. While this alignment problem, may be my fault, I don't think there should have been this issue.\n\nEnjoy the pictures!
