This product works fine as scissors however th box cutter device is placed on the handle and could easily cut some one using it. there is a lock for the box cutter blade, but it is not easy to use. Also using it as a box cutter performed very poorly.

I purchased this product because I needed a new pair of scissors plus I needed a box cutter. I thought it would be economical to get an "all in one" but it was not worth the money spent. The box cutter does not work very well.

I purchased the product for the 2-in-1 function of box-cutting and scissors. The cutter blade is very tiny, so tiny that it can barely be seen, much less be of sufficient depth to cut through box tape or cardboard. The scissors are terrific, though.

They are very good for packaging and they always remain sharp and sturdy! You won't find any other like them (trust me I've searched). They won't get stuck while you cut.

We've had it under a year and only use it occassionally. The box cutter never was very sharp and now doesn't function at all. The scissors are so dull they can't cut the average piece of paper without fraying the edge.
