We like the framed front cover that allows us to print our own 8.5 x 11 inserts. The notebook is durable and serves our purpose in providing reports to our clients in landscape orientation. However, within the same shipment some notebooks will be fine while the vinyl is wrinkled inside the front cover on others - wrinkled enough that I will not use those. I have received the same item with a slightly different label that seems to be okay at first glance, then I discovered the 1" white sticker on the back of the notebook that just will not peel off without using Goo Gone or a similar product...which can be quite time consuming when we need to prepare 15 reports. The wrinkled vinyl and difficult-to-remove sticker are both issues we have tried to pass along to Avery. Other binders I have used (Avery, other brands) have a peel-off sticker on the spine that comes off clean. But not this one! However, we like the way our reports look in this particular binder so we will probably continue to order and then return those that are defective. There is a nice metallic blue binder that we like even better than the black we typically order; however, the two samples I ordered had the same obstinate 1" white sticker/UPC code pasted on the back. I hope Avery will improve their quality control procedures for these binders.
