Failed with "Overload" after 8 months

Used as backup for network peripherals (router, switches, etc). After 8 months of continuous successful use, the unit failed. It now beeps continuously with flashing Overload light. The unit can be reset, but then beeps overload again a minute later -- even with nothing plugged in! APC better step up their quality control.

I use it to make sure that I don't lose valuable data during black outs or power surges. It is small enough to fit under my desk. It was a bit heavy to carry to my home office which is on the 3rd floor of my house.
