They don't tell you that you must buy a $20.00 filter, if you have DSL service. I did that, but I see no improvement on the phone itself; however, now my *other* (land-based) phone has developed a "quirk"--you can hear the actual dialing of the number and I can't dial options on that phone anymore. I'll have to ask Quest how I can resolve this situation (if they even know).
