Many features -maybe TOO many.
The several varieties/levels of editing have different features; I have to invoke two or three to find the features I need. Toolbars change, requiring much trial and error; e.g., what does "brush" do in each mode?
"HELP" is difficult to access for specific problems. Introductory tutorial videos end several seconds before the specified duration.
In some modes, editor ties up 100% of CPU time until I pull the plug, losing any useful work I did.

It seemed more interested in you putting thngs on line for others to see. I had another Adobe Photo that was great but the new 64 bit computer wouldn't accept it. Personally it was a waste of my money.

Being a longtime fan of Adobe Photoshop Elements, I must admit there is no other program quite like it. Once you know your way around the workspace, the workflow is intuitive, accurate and the results absolutely dazzling. I bought version 7 because of a PC upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium. I was warned that PSE 7 is not supported by that platform. however I have had no problems whatsoever - the program does all it is supposed to do - and then some. This review is 4 stars (instead of 5) because PSE 7 has one very annoying quirk: windows pop up everywhere, constantly urging the user to become a member of Photoshop.com (where photos can be uploaded for the world to see and artwork and templates can be downloaded for use with the program). It seems that, with this version, PSE wants to reach a vaster audience (thus the membership gimmick). Not to fear, however - PSE 7 is still a serious program that remains unmatched in its price range for ease of use [...]. As I said, above: there's nothing like it.

I love this product so far! The tuturials and help links are extremely helpful and make things go smooth. I have had so much fun with this product over the past week and learning how to use it! I use this for my photography business. The only thing I haven't been able to find on it yet, is an easy way to add a watermark. According to some other helpful links, it's a pretty long proccess. Maybe I just haven't figured it out yet. :o) Over all I give it an A++!
