Bought this multi media projector to use for DVD media presentations. Quick start and quick off is the real deal as Epson claims. It's light weight, extremely portable, easy to set up and better yet easy to operate! \n\nI'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality low cost multi media projector. I recommend purchasing the composite video cable or an "S" video cable for better picture quality.\n\nWant to see it in action? Check out our patriotic DVD presentation using this projector with my 18 piece Somers Dream Orchestra on "You Tube." You will see the video shown on a screen in front of the orchestra while we perform "God Bless the USA!"

The first unit I got didn't work correctly after two weeks. It stopped working at all after 5 weeks. Epson was exceptionally easy to work with [...]The new unit works perfectly and I am very happy with it. It is very easy to use.

Works great, bright, and from what I have \nfound its has the cheapest lamp for a \nCommercial Projector, and the lamp can\nlast 4000 hours.\n\nI use it with the computer, and my \nHD Satellite, Picture quality is great, the\nonly problems is no HDMI, and Component shares\nthe VGA connector, that means that to switch\nbetween Computer and TV viewing you have to\nunplug cables, and you need a Component to VGA \ncable. \n\nI tried a powered VGA switch, and it \nwas not able to switch between the VGA and \nComponent to VGA, - A manual VGA switch\nmight do the trick, but its just a guess.\n\nSetup was easy, and quick, \n\nBTW lamp hours don't start counting until after\n10 hours,

I chose the Epson for the LCD technology, resolution and brigtness. Price was a factor, but not the main one. I use it for Power Point presentations to our ambulance corps in a room approx 20 x 24 to 30 people. At 10 feet it throws a good sized, bright picture on the wall. Lights need to be down or contrast is washed out, however. I have tried it with video at home on an old movie screen and it seems a bit corse. Looked much better on a smaller poster sized paper screen. Priced reasonabley compared with similar models.
