I searched for quite some time to find just the right desk for my 9x12 home office. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, didn't want a lot of bells and whistles, just a basic, solid, roomy desk. I found it in this model! I was able to put it together by myself in about 4 hours. Assembly was pretty easy, and the only thing I found that was "wrong" was that the desk trim on the front was cut slightly longer than it should have been and I had to shave about 1/4" off the end to make the corners all line up properly. You should probably know that the riser on this desk is pretty high, but is just right for me (I'm 5'9"), so a shorter person probably wouldn't be happy with sitting their monitor up there. The desk is very solid and would definitely require 2-3 people to support the joints during a move as it is a little heavy and awkward. I also bought the matching 2-door storage cabinet and it sits atop my lateral file perfectly. The only design flaw is that the doors aren't flush at the top and there is an unfinished stabilizing bar that you can see. I wish it was finished so it wouldn't be so noticeable. But, overall, these two units were a VERY good buy!

I like the desk. I'm a gamer and it gives me plenty of space for my needs. Just wish the keyboard tray was big enough for my keyboard and mouse. I prefer to keep the 2 side by side. Also wish it had at least one filing cabinet drawer and a few shelves. But other than those minor issues i would still recommend it to anyone wanting a good, sturdy and nice looking corner desk.

-Large desk space
-fits well into a corner
-lots of room underneath desk for peripherals without cluttering your legspace

Cons:
-difficult to put together by yourself
-pieces (particularly the molding) don't always line up correctly
-several pieces of the particle board arrived noticeably scratched
-the monitor platform is a little higher than the height at which I can comfortably work.
-the sliding keyboard panel isn't big enough to put a mouse on it.

THIS IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND PATIENCE!! DO NOT BUY!!

I should have known by the price that it was substandard. The box contained no hardware, but did contain some extra pieces of wood. I called for a received a hardware bag, but it's still missing a couple key pieces. Directions were confusing, and the screws poked through the flimsy pressboard/veneer. I know that I will have to invest in a decent, sturdy desk once I have to move this to paint or recarpet.

Service & Delivery comments:

It was delivered promptly....but was missing all of the hardware. The manufacturer sent a hardware bag, but it's still missing pieces.
