I take this on every estimate and use it to take notes. Then once doing the job I use it to track progress. The easy removal of the pages allow me to file each page with its perspective job.

I put one project on a page, number the page and add that to an index on the first page. There is space for a project name, date I started it, shopping list, drawings and calculations. When a project is finished I write "Done" and the date across the page. I also record part and telephone numbers for potential future use. Using this system I actually get things done.

So glad I found this on line ! I use this notebook for my desk log at work. It is "just right" to quote Goldilocks. Best I have ever found. Also use at home for my various art projects and personal planning.
