After 10 months of justing making an occasional cup of hot water for tea or hot chocolate in a two person office, the key pad just died. [...] I'd rather just invest in a different brand and lose the "warranty".

Bought this to fit a small space and wanted something that was all stainless steel and not just painted plastic or a stainless front with a black cabinet. Staples delivered it very fast and had the best price. The microwave looks amazing and really is all stainless steel. It works ok, even for popcorn, not the best though, but I knew what I was getting into when I ordered a 700 watt microwave, so can’t complain.It started to take longer and longer to cook and within two months, it over heated and smelled like it was going to catch on fire. It stopped working all together. I called the company and they have not returned my call.Staples stepped up and exchanged it and picked up the old one, even though it was way past the exchange policy. Staples gets 5 stars! Avanti gets zero.

Looks cute and is compact but not very powerful, requires more cooking time than the previous unit. Also small capacity makes popcorn burn through holes in bag.
