The notch in the bracket makes the grid sit too far out from the wall--2". And after hanging my kitchen utensils on the grid, it would end up taking up almost 4"+...too much for my galley-style kitchen. If the dimensions had been listed to begin with, I wouldn't have had to gone through the hassel of ordering, waiting, and lugging them home, then lugging them back to the store to return them. The item itself is of good quality--it just doesn't meet my needs at this time.

The brackets allowed me to mount a grid system I scooped up at a store closing sale. I am using the unit in my kitchen to store pots and pans.

This may or may not work for my kitchen grids, which I've had for 20 years...my grids are a much thinner guage wire, and the notch in the support of this bracket is large enough to take the thickness of a pencil. Let me also offer dimensions which are not offered in the description: the diamond-shaped back is approx. 3-7/8"h x 3-1/8"w; and the support sticks out a total of 2-1/2" with the notch placed at 2-1/8" from the diamond-shaped back. Had I known these dimensions ahead of time, I might have looked further before ordering them. I *can* say they look very nice: paint finish is an attractive hi-gloss black, but since black screws are **not** suppled with the brackets, I'll either have to look for very dark screws or deal with silver screws. All-in-all, at this point I must say that I'm giving this a 50/50 review: they look good, but because of the lack of description I don't know if they'll meet my needs. I'll write again as to the results.
