We don't use it that much, but need a typewriter for specific things. I'm still learning, but it seems to do fine. I do miss the up and down half-spaces on our very old typewriter and it's hard to figure out where the lettering is actually going to come up on the paper.

I HATE this machine. The ribbon pops out constantly when I hit the return button. Sometimes the spacing between the lines changes, because the roller does not move properly when hitting the return button. The use of the codes is complicated. We have different sizes of envelopes and we can only use the smaller 9 x 12 and not the slightly larger 10 x 13, which we use more often. For us, this machine was a huge waste of money and all we needed it for was a back up to type up addresses on envelopes or labels.
