I use this labelmaker in my small business office. It's great for labeling files and other miscellaneous organizational bins around the office. The labels are clean, professional and easy to read. I also like the control of output available by using my computer to create labels.

Two frustrations: (1) there is no indication on the packaging that the AC Adapter is not included and that it costs an extra $26 to buy one; and(2) the USB cord that comes with the machine is about 3-4 feet long, not long enough to put the device on your desk if you have your computer on the floor like mine. So, I also had to buy a longer USB cord. A basic, 6' cord would have solved this problem.

I would have given this 5 stars, if these two issues had not complicated my purchase.

This unit is not sold with the required power supply which costs another $26. For another $30 you can buy the PT-2430PC which includes all you need plus has additional capacity.

Superbly engineered. Plug into your USB 2.0 port and go! Easy self-installer and great lightweight Windows application. Specify many fonts, sizes and preferences. Be sure to order the AC adapter so you're always ready to push the power button and make some labels!

I like that you have all of your computer fonts program to select from and it's easy to size your print, you know just what you will get. With my other label makers I never knew what the size would be until it came out of the unit. I used to waste a lot of tape trying to get the size right. Also easy to edit if you make a mistake. It's easier to look at your monitor than the tiny screens on the label maker.
