We are book publisher and we have been using several of these shelves in the office for awhile now. We currently have 8 of these in the front office and are adding 2 more. They hold and display all of our books nicely. The only complaint we have is the backs of them are really flimsy and hard to put on, and once together, they don't butt up squarely against one another.

I have 300+ hardback books to display/store, so I bought two Bush 5-Shelf wooden bookcases. I have been pleasantly pleased with them. All of my books fit and the one-inch shelves support the weight without buckling - which is rare with cheap bookcases like these. For the money, the bookcases look really good.

I was suprised at how easy this was to put together and how much weight the shelves can hold. I got two to hold my entire book and photo album collection and it works wonderfully. Very nice looking. My only complaint is the backing is kinda flimsy and it takes sooo many nails to put it on. (50 to be exact)and most of the nails that it came with broke in half when I tried to hammer them in. Other than that, it's great!

I was really excited when I ordered this bookshelf. It looked gorgeous in my room; however, one day I noticed a couple of the shelves seemed crooked. The metal pegs that supported the shelves had broken the side panels and collapsed. I did not have heavy books on the shelves, so I am disappointed by the poor construction.
