I read the manual ; still didn't understand alot about digital photography, but, after reading other books; and taking a Canon in the Parks camera course(At Yellowstone, no less), I can appreciate my camera so much more! It really has everything on it except video(have to go up a camera to the XiT to get video)...this is great! Get off the auto feature and you will learn so much and get wonderful photos....
