Comments about A&W Toktumi Phone System:

I have been using Toktumi in our small office where we are now up to four lines. It allows us to have a main line, and a few extensions. It has all the functionality of large systems, but is more versatile (for example, you can be on your phone at a wireless hotspot). When PacBell calls to ask about our phone system, they cannot even touch the pricing. Voice quality is better than Vonage, and it offers the multi-line support that Vonage has not even gotten to. We are waiting for a Mac version. We have learned that it works great with phone sets (any type), and plugged in head sets. When you have someone use the phone, there is no training. Hope this helps your thinking on this.

Comments about A&W Toktumi Phone System:

Pros: \nCool piece of technology that is easy to setup out of the box or off the web. Makes VOIP service available to those users not comfortable with a PC, or provides enhanced functions to those who are comfortable with a PC. Been using it for about 2 months now. I like the forwarding feature which enables me to be reached anywhere anytime with just one number. The auto-attendent feature is also powerful and allows me to act as a larger firm with more "departments" than I actually have - which streamlines the calls as well. Like the product and the ability to choose the phone nmumber I want. Quality seems better than Skype or other online chat/VOIP services. It comes across as just a real phone and not some cheap service. I like that they provide you with detailed billing emails frequently so you can track use and costs. Toktumi lets you conference in up to 20 other callers - which makes it really easy to start a conference call on the fly.\n\n\nCons: \nNeeds a PC and internet access, although it does take messages even if you are not online, or will forward to another phone. I've had trouble entering some extension numbers after dialing the main number.\n\nSummary:\nI also got my girlfriend to use it and we are able to reduce our long distance tolls substantially when we both use it. Also have several friends using it and they seem pretty satisfied. Rates are very competitive for toll calling. I bought the adaptor at Staples and it works as advertised, but I find when I am at my PC it's easier to use a headset and keep my hands free. I also installed it onto my laptop and can make and receive calls easily when I travel without resorting to my cell phone. This is especially good for long conference calls.
