Card was great until it stopped working

The card worked great for several months, then it simply stopped working on vacation. In the middle of taking pictures, my camera could not read or write to it. No card readers would recognize it - it acted as if it were not formatted. Fortunately, I was able to find some software that allowed me to recover most of the photos I had stored on the card. I almost lost all of my vacation photos. I no longer use the card. I cannot trust this brand anymore.
