very disappointed when I realized that the shelves were cardboard. Doesn't say that in the promo. Teammates purchased theirs at a discount store and they got real shelves.

If you are a teacher planning to use this in your classroom, then do not expect student folders to fit nicely...you have to bend up the sides to get it in.

I use this organizer at school for my students' mailboxes (2nd grade). It's exactly what I needed and expected. Not the best quality, but decent for the price. Overall the unit is sturdy and heavy, but the shelves are made of cardboard. I would recommend this organizer for anyone.
