I'm not a shopper for Scanners and purchased this to replace my aging HP. I am completely happy with the ability to scan old off color slides, deteriorating color prints, old 2-l/4 x 2-1/4 negatives. Instead of just scanning it asks what you are attempting to scan so it can switch on appropriate software. So far I'm completely happy with this unit.
