I've been looking for a suitable replacement for my old computer chair for a few weeks now. Ultimately, I settled on this one...which is actually an updated version of the same model I used to own.

This chair, I hate to say, is not the best quality you can find. There are chairs in the same price range that are definitely better quality. The armrests are pretty poor: and I can see how they are destined to become a hassle as other reviewers have stated they have. I also makes a decent amount of creaking noise.

Bottom line though: I find this chair far more comfortable than all the super-ergonomic $500 chairs out there. The back is attached to the seat by a flexible metal bar that gives a springy support that is great to lean back and rock yourself into relaxation with. The back rest is big and wide and supports my back nice and evenly. This is NOT a chair for those who want perfect upright lumbar support that allows a constant working position. But if you're like me, and just like to lean back and lounge when your back gets tired, then this is the best option I've found.

The arm rests should be flat for working comfortably on keyboard. They dip in the middles for resting and hurt arms when using keyboard. I use this chair for work all day 8 plus hours. It's not an all day chair in my opinion. Nice looking, but I don't see it lasting very long. Not as comfortable as it appears.

I don't know what the other reviewers have been doing to their armrests, but I've been using this chair for two years already. It is used in a business environment and other people use it frequently. Maybe the others abuse the armrests through scratching and minors cuts, could be the temperature of the room(It's warm here all the time from the equipment). This chair is comfortable, straightens my back so I'm always comfortable when I work at the keyboard.

I sit in one of these chairs virtually all day. I have one at the office and at home. This is also the same chair 3 other coworkers use. They all have one thing in common: The armrests totally disintegrate over time.
I'm right handed, so my left arm is on the arm rest more than the right. My left armrest is toast and often pinches the skin of my elbow in the cracks of the outer shell.
It also creaks, ALOT. I'm sometimes a bit self-conscious when I shift in my chair because it rings out like a fog horn!
This chair should be used sparingly, perhaps just as a guest chair. Plan to get another chair in a year or so.
It's cheap, and you get what you pay for.

The leather seat ripped in under a year of normal use. I guess sometimes it's worth spending a bit more to get a quality product.
