Not your typical file cabinet

This is the top of the line that one can find at places like Staples and Office Depot and the construction is a good step above the next lower grade. Unfortunately it has one major flaw and that is that the drawers are not removable - HON really screwed up on this one. Doesn't sound like much, but if you ever have to move it up or down stairs or from one building to another you will have to completely unload the drawers rather than simply removing them. For that reason I returned it. The next lower grade is only $20 less but it is a piece of junk so I went to a store that sells used office furniture and found what I wanted for half the price.

I loved getting my classroom organized. The drawers roll smoothly all the way to the end of the drawer. My old 2-drawer cabinet only opened half-way. A lot of space to organize.

This cabinet is sturdy and appears well made. I like how the hanging files do not require any type of rack system and the stoppers keep everything in place. I did notice the brand I purchased of expandable files with high sides did not fit very well. The bottom of the cabinet seemed very sharp and it will be on carpet, so I installed sliders and it can be moved easily. I would recommend this to a friend.
