I am scanning in 13,000 plus old photograph negatives. I loved 5700 series and the software that came with it. I could open any photo editor and import the negatives or photos. Much easier to use than this one. The defaults have to be reset on almost every image. But the results are great!

I use it to make pixs of my negatives since the origanals have been given to friends and family. Before making doubles were options and before digital was available.

Regular scanning does well, photos, etc., Slides are slow because it takes 16 at a time and treats each one as an individual picture. Overall good product. I like it.
