I am scanning in 13,000 plus old photograph negatives. I loved 5700 series and the software that came with it. I could open any photo editor and import the negatives or photos. Much easier to use than this one. The defaults have to be reset on almost every image. But the results are great!

Regular scanning does well, photos, etc., Slides are slow because it takes 16 at a time and treats each one as an individual picture. Overall good product. I like it.

I was able to set it up and start using it within an hour. Very easy instructions to follow (although you might need to have a little computer experience). Nice to be able to scan 16 slides at a time. Does take a bit of time to go through and scan but worth the wait!
