This was a replacement for some wimpy, flimsy, hollow, useless door stops we bought at another store. We bought FOUR of them at [$] each!!!! It was a complete waste of money because our toddler could move the doors and play with the stops. They've become toddler toys. We needed door stops so he couldn't shut himself up in various rooms. THIS door stop works very well, and is much like the workhorse of a solid piece we used to be able to buy when I was growing up. It continues to work, but as the toddler gets bigger and stronger not much seems to be holding him back, which will probably include this door stop.

I use this door prop for a heavy exterior door. It doesn't reliably keep the door open. Often during the day I need to reposition the door and the prop. It does work exceptionally well for the interior doors.
