If it were possible to give this drive less than one star, I would. It is difficult to setup. It is unreliable. It runs hot. It's loud. I can't trust it. I will not waste more time and money on it by returning it. I wouldn't even advise using it as a doorstop!

The product could not be accessed ,by my new HP Laptop, in the wireless set-up just connected in my home.
I returned the product as it could not do what I was told it could do; i.e. allow my networked computers (both new this year) to recognize it and access data stored with it.

I was hoping for an online net storage device. But it is too slow for anything but a once a week or month backup. It seems easier to use than the[...] net storage I tried previously. Interface software at least works for Mac. That's more than I can say for[...]which was also slow.Plus Staples rebates stink. Did you know your money is absconded by Staples if you don't spend it right away!

Bought to centralize family photos, music and movies. The drive CRASHED and now I'm spending $1K to recover the family photos and movies. Of course the drive CRASHED while I was doing a backup
