Residential and hotel safe designed for personal in room use.

Convenient motorized locking system, incorporating the latest technology with an easy to read, large LED display that let's you know the status of the safe.

  • Keypad or electronic swipe entry for use with cards with a magnetic strip
  • Standard hotel room configuration: customer sets new combination, quickly and easily, every time safe is used
  • Mechanical override key lets you by-pass the electronic lock
  • Lock-out penalty, if combination is consecutively entered incorrectly the safe will lock for 15 minutes
  • 6 digit electronic override code can be set by security personal
  • Any card with a magnetic strip can be set as an override by security personal
  • Reliable ADA approved keypad with brail bump on the number 5
  • 2 bolts included for bolt-down installation
  • 4 Pre-drilled anchor holes (2 on back and 2 on bottom)
  • Requires 4 AA batteries; batteries included

My husband travels alot. When he suggested a hotel safe for my daughter's dorm room I thought he had lost his mind and could not imagine where I would get one. I googled "hotel safe" found Staples and could not be more satisfied. Several of my friends have ordered it also for their kids in college. We secured ours to the bed (placed it under) with a strong bicycle cable. This is absolutely the best investment I have made in a long time. With the price of laptops, IPods, Blackberry phones all so high, the cost to protect them was just a drop in the bucket. This should be on every college's list of things for the freshmen to buy. We were told that most theft's at college were "crimes of convenience" so the weight of the safe and cable certainly makes this much less likely to be taken on a whim. And because my daughter forgets everything my husband is the master of the safe and she can set her code every day if she wants too (because of it being a hotel safe) and if need be he can help her get into it from a distance. Great product. You should use this in advertising.
