This is an average webcam. Audio is OK, video is grainy and requires a fair amount of lighting for best quality.

It is also on the pricey side for basic webcams. If you buy it at Staples, you will pay a premium since it can be bought elsewhere for less money

Purchased in August and still doesn't work. I have reloaded the program 3 times, accepted MSN "Windows Live", and cannot even get the Help program to work. It is getting close to return to seller time.

I wanted the camera for talking to my grandchildren in Florida. The picture is clear and the built in mic means no extra connections. Early morning light is not so good but later in the day or with the light turned on the picture is clear and crisp. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this camera fit my price range too.
