It's difficult to find many cases for the 17" laptops just now, but this one is a great everyday. It's lightweight and has a shoulder strap, haven't taken it on an airplane yet but its not as durable as some - but great to use for everyday and to keep in covered in the hous

My 17" lap top fits. No room or pocket for the power cord/pack. Handles are thin and dig in to your hand. No sholder strap.

This bag lets me carry my 8 pound laptop in comfort. The bubbles inside add an unexpected level of protection, which most cases I looked at didn't include. A little padding on the strap would make it perfect.

My 17" HP laptop fits perfectly into this bag (along the cords), however 'what you see is what you get'. There are no pockets and more importantly for me, there is no shoulder strap. The overall quality is good and it works well as a basic sleeve but I would like to see a shoulder strap to make it more 'commuter-friendly'.
