Very difficult to set up

The CD that came with it didn't work. I had to go online to download the latest version for use with XP. Once I was able to scan a card in, it didn't tell me what to do to save it or to scan another one for that matter. I had to use trial and error to figure it out. Once I got it working, for some reason it rarely picked up the company name correctly-even if it was the largest, clearest word on the card. I was ready to take it back to the store when it finally started to work. Maybe a higher priced model would work better, but it was all I could afford.

When scanning I learned to save and exit each time (as I add to my Outlook contacts file)....if you try to more than one it hung up computer and I had to reboot.

poor recognition and interface with ACT does not recognize or accurately "fill" database with business card details. Inspect what you expect with all data going in from this tool.

I use it with Outlook Contact Business Manager. It works great. Depending on the business card itself, it usually reads card and organizes the fields really well. There have been a few instances that I would have to adjust the fields but for everyday business cards it works great. I have a hard time loading the software on one of my computers running Vista Ultimate.
