I have tried virtually every staple remover made. I am always looking for one that really works without tearing the paper or leaving one side of the staple still bent (meaning you have to manually slide it around and off). I knew there had to be a better way and OXO found it! This staple remover is heavier than most, which makes it stable and sure when you slide it under the staple. It will not break off or slide away from the staple, before it unfolds it and releases it from the paper. Presto...no stretched holes in the paper! I am very happy with this new design and highly recommend it to others - especially those in high volume offices.

This staple remover is very slick and removes staples without hardly any damage to the underlying paper. Great for documents that need to be separated and scanned, torn paper can cause jams in the scanner.
